Please find below our short news for November 2023:
- The consolidation package was signed by the President of the Czech Republic on 22 November 2023. This law will be published in the Collection of Laws. We informed you about changes in connection with income taxes here, and about changes in VAT and tax on immovable assets here.
- The Chamber of Deputies passed a bill that changes laws related to the development of the financial market (Parliamentary Press No. 474); submitted amendments should result in a change in taxation of employee share option schemes and a modification of Section 34c (5) of the Income Tax Act (the tax deductible item for research and development); the law was referred to the Senate for discussion on 21 November 2023.
- Regulation No. 341/2023. Coll., on Determining the Level of Basic Rates of Foreign Subsistence Allowances for 2024, was published in the Collection of Laws.
- The Financial Administration published information about value added tax forms for 2024 on their website.
- 30 November 2023 was the final date, by which it was possible to take the chance of the tax Merciful Summer and to file an application for remission of tax accessories.
- The Ministry of Finance issued Financial Newsletter No. 13/2023:
- Instruction No. GFŘ-D-62 about placing a file or a relevant part thereof with tax offices and regional offices of tax offices; and
- Information about financial settlement of relationships with the national budget for 2023 in connection with a simplified grant register and a change in over-committed projects co-financed from the European Union budget.
